Corrections policy

Corrections are checked against official documents, not secondary commentary. Historical information is not silently deleted.

How to report an error

Provide the page, the specific detail or name, and the official document that supports the correction. Until a correction is verified, the existing cited information remains unchanged.

How corrections appear

Verified corrections appear in the Updates history. Removed designations remain visible in the historical record, together with their current status.

Start with the official document linked from the relevant page. A preserved copy is available when needed.
